Our Story
Get to Know Us
Katherine Sherwood is a graduate of Oral Roberts University and the founder of a Spain-based English academy and study abroad program. After studying abroad in Valencia during her university years, Katherine felt called to return to Spain following graduation and make it her home.
What began as a step of obedience has grown into a program that serves students, churches, and local communities through education, discipleship, and cultural engagement. Katherine’s work is rooted in the belief that excellence in education and ministry can go hand in hand.
Our Program

Spanish Immersion
Students receive practical, conversational Spanish instruction designed for everyday life and ministry contexts. Language learning is reinforced through daily interaction, homestays with local families, and optional Spanish music lessons that strengthen listening, pronunciation, and cultural understanding.

Cultural Integration
Cultural immersion is central to the program. Students live with Spanish host families, engage with local churches, and participate in cultural excursions that provide historical and social context. This integration helps students learn how to serve effectively within a different culture.

Practical Ministry Experience
Students serve alongside local churches and ministries in supervised placements. Opportunities may include youth ministry, children’s programs, English outreach, and community service. The focus is on servant leadership, humility, and relationship-based ministry.
